DeTour Creative Festival, Hong Kong - Urban Futures Lab

I conceived and facilitated a visual storytelling workshop program for Hong Kong residents for the 2018 deTour Creative Festival titled Cut and Try with the assistance of an Australian Government Columbo funding. The lab was also served as studio space for Swinburne Masters study tour students involved in the delivery of this program.

Titled “Senses of the City”, Hong Kong residents were taken through a series of rapid iterative process exercises and creative experiments to visualise their city (or future city) through eight senses of their choice (e.g. touch, taste, sound, smell, memory, dream or imagination). These experiments were used to then woven into a series of unique handmade zines which were also exhibited in the space.
